Yummmy! My boys will roll anything up in a tortilla and eat it... even pb&j. It is just good.

I LOVE those things, but haven't made them in such a long time! Thanks for the reminder! :-)

Oh, my heavens! I just read in your bio that you live in Utica! I grew up in Vicksburg and now live in Ridgeland. What a SMALL world. I just love your blog so I have left you an award on my blog. http://cornercooking.blogspot.com Enjoy! Deanna

I still eat pb & j on crackers. Never thought to roll it up in a tortilla. I will have to try it; your boys may be on to something.
We lived in Jxn. until after Katrina then we had to move. My family is from Utica and we were lucky to find a nice older house here on Main Street. Such a difference from Jackson. We no longer hear gun shots at all times of night. The police go by regularly and it is so quite. (We lived downtown near George Street Grocery.)

Sometimes trying new things we tend to forget what was tried and true. I try to keep a file of my favorite and of course, the blog now helps because some of the soups we fixed last winter we will be making again this year.
